2024-25 MUSF Mustang Fund

Welcome to new and returning families to Montecito Union School!

The Mustang Fund is the annual capital campaign led by the Montecito Union School Foundation (MUSF). The Foundation was founded in 2018 and is driven by a mission to enhance the academic experience of our children through school programming, events, and capital project contributions. Examples of past projects include funding for the iLab and the Nature Lab, which continue to thrive at MUS.

We need you to continue this important work. Annual Giving ensures that MUS remains a fantastic school for our children and community. We rely on your participation to realize our impact goals. The Mustang Fund is a significant source of funds for the approved budget and we ask everyone in our school community to participate with a tax-deductible gift.

We hope to build on last year’s record campaign. With many generous donations last year, the Foundation was able to allocate funds to the i-Lab and Library projects, making much needed capital improvements.

For the 2024-25 year, our goal is to generate donations to support initiatives in the Fitness and Wellness programs at MUS to support our children's healthy bodies and minds.

Our goal this year is to average $750 per child and 100% participation. Whether you are in a position to be generous this year or can only give a little - every dollar and every donation matters and we are incredibly grateful for your support. We look forward to sending a gift of our appreciation to each of our donors. Donations can be recognized as anonymous through payment options.

You can pay by check by making your check payable to the Montecito Union School Foundation and dropping it off at school.
* Please include your child's grade and teacher in the memo line of the check so we can update our participation numbers accordingly and credit your children's grade. If you would like to pay by check you can also mail it to:

Stock Transfer

If you are interested in supporting the Mustang Fund via stock transfer, please email mustangfund@musfoundation.com for instructions and to have your questions answered.

ACH (coming soon)

We are currently working on accepting ACH so you can electronically transfer funds straight from your checking account. This will be a great option as it is efficient and transaction fees are minimal. If this is of interest please email Ben - benhyatt@musfoundation.com and he will give you an idea when ACH will be available.
